Process
Get in touch with us and we’ll start getting to know you, your aims and your budget before arranging your free consultation.
We provide a free design visit to get a detailed idea of your requirements before we start work on your design.
Using the information and ideas we’ve shared during the first meeting and our conversations, we produce a design and guide budget for your approval.
Once you’ve given your feedback and we’ve fine tuned the designs, we submit them for planning.
Detailed drawings are produced (by us or your own architect if you prefer) and a fixed price quotation is provided. No hidden extras.
We offer a ‘turn key’ service, dealing with every aspect of the build from initial design to completion of the build in the South East of England. Elsewhere in the UK we are able to provide oak frame and glazing working with your chosen builder – an ideal option for self builds.
Our Approach
The wonderful thing about an oak frame is that it can be incorporated into almost any form of house construction, to bring a warmth and character unachievable in any other way.
Choosing an oak frame into your home does not need to be an all or nothing decision. The use of elements of oak frame in key areas can add a wow factor to the hallway, master bedroom or living area. We prefer a ‘less is more’ approach to showcase the character of the oak and provide real impact.
Biophilic Design
nàdar’s biophilic design approach seeks to connect people more closely to nature, providing numerous benefits to client’s health and well-being.
Biophilic designed living spaces consider things like natural materials, natural lighting and ventilation, natural landscape features and other elements for creating a more productive and healthy environment.
What our customers say
Buildings for the Future
Given the speed of change that is happening to our beautiful planet and how this is rapidly affecting the long term well-being of the earth, we believe we have a duty of care to show respect for Mother Nature and do what we can, as individuals or as a species.
We work with timber suppliers who have reforestation agreements in place, meaning that more trees are planted than felled. New trees produce more oxygen than old trees and also absorb more carbon dioxide.
Wood has the lowest energy consumption and the lowest carbon dioxide emission of any commonly used building material. It is an organic and naturally renewable material.
