Oak frame buildings

Oak frame buildings created to your designs or designed for you

We work on a variety of different oak frame buildings ranging from a full house build to a porch or car port. Whatever the oak frame building is, we focus on you and your way of living to help you get the most of your space. We use oak as the primary material in our buildings as we passionately believe that homes should include a true connection with nature, and that we all benefit from increased amounts of natural materials.

Why choose an oak frame building?

The look and feel of your home is a very personal choice. We think oak framed extensions offer the best possible combination of aesthetics, sustainability and value.

Oak frame buildings have a beautiful, natural appearance that can complement any home style. The unique grain patterns and warm tones of the wood can add character and warmth to your home.

Oak is a renewable resource and is a popular choice for environmentally conscious homeowners. Additionally, the construction of an oak framed extension requires less energy and resources than other types of construction materials.

Oak is an incredibly strong and durable wood, with a lifespan of hundreds of years. An oak framed extension can withstand the test of time and requires minimal maintenance.

Biophilic design

Biophilic designed living spaces consider things like natural materials, natural lighting and ventilation, natural landscape features and other elements for creating a more productive and healthy environment.

Resale value

An oak framed extension can add significant value to your home. The unique, high-quality construction and timeless aesthetic can attract potential buyers and increase the resale value of your property.

Oak is a versatile material that can be easily shaped and customized to fit your specific design needs. An oak frame extension can be designed to blend seamlessly with your existing home or to create a striking contrast.

How much does an oak framed building cost?

It’s hard to provide an idea of cost as an oak framed building can vary greatly. Factors such as the building size, the design complexity, the location of the project and the level of finish will impact significantly on the overall cost.

To get an accurate idea of the cost of an oak framed building, get in touch with us and we’ll ask a few questions about what you are hoping to achieve before arranging a free initial consultation. We will gather all the information we need to put together a design and guide price for you with no obligation from you. If you already have a design prepared, we can use this too. If you’re happy with the guide price, we will provide a detailed quote based on your specific requirements and location.

What are the next steps?

Get in touch with us and we’ll start getting to know you, your aims and your budget before arranging your free consultation.

We provide a free design visit to get a detailed idea of your requirements before we start work on your design.

Using the information and ideas we’ve shared during the first meeting and our conversations, we produce a design and guide budget for your approval.

Once you’ve given your feedback and we’ve fine tuned the designs, we submit them for planning.

Detailed drawings are produced (by us or your own architect if you prefer) and a fixed price quotation is provided. No hidden extras.

We offer a ‘turn key’ service, dealing with every aspect of the build from initial design to completion of the build in the South East of England. Elsewhere in the UK we are able to provide oak frame and glazing working with your chosen builder – an ideal option for self builds.
