Oak frame buildings

Oak frame buildings created to your designs or designed for you

We work on a variety of different oak frame buildings ranging from a full house build to a porch or car port. Whatever the oak frame building is, we focus on you and your way of living to help you get the most of your space. We use oak as the primary material in our buildings as we passionately believe that homes should include a true connection with nature, and that we all benefit from increased amounts of natural materials.

How We Can Work With You

Why choose an Oak Frame Building?

Longevity

Oak gives your building a sense of permanence and strength that few materials can match.

Character

The frame becomes part of the identity of the building, not simply a construction method.

Scale

Oak works beautifully in larger spaces, from homes and barns to pool houses and entertainment buildings.

Natural Materials

The warmth and texture of oak help the building feel calm, grounded and connected to nature.

Design Flexibility

Oak can sit within traditional, contemporary or mixed-material architecture.

Craft

Every joint, span and proportion matters. The detail is what gives the finished building its quality.

How Much Does an Oak Frame Building Cost?

The cost of an oak frame building depends on scale, complexity, specification, location and the level of project management required.

A new home, pool house, barn or entertainment building will each have different requirements. After an initial conversation, we can provide a guide budget figure so you understand what is realistic before detailed design begins.

For more information about cost check out our FAQ or get in touch.

What happens next?

Get in touch with us and we’ll start getting to know you, your aims and your budget before arranging your free consultation.

We provide a free design visit to get a detailed idea of your requirements before we start work on your design.

Using the information and ideas we’ve shared during the first meeting and our conversations, we produce a design and guide budget for your approval.

Once you’ve given your feedback and we’ve fine tuned the designs, we submit them for planning.

Detailed drawings are produced (by us or your own architect if you prefer) and a fixed price quotation is provided. No hidden extras.

We offer a ‘turn key’ service, dealing with every aspect of the build from initial design to completion of the build in the South East of England. Elsewhere in the UK we are able to provide oak frame and glazing working with your chosen builder – an ideal option for self builds.
